My story

I’m JC, and welcome to Big Sugar’s Bakehouse! Just a girl born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. I grew up with a large family, and was always surrounded by people who supported (maybe enabled) my baking passion! Whether it was pancakes with my Granny, Texas Hot Cake with my Aunt, or scary creations in the Easy Bake Oven with my sisters, I was always dreaming of being a baker!

Relocating to Savannah, Ga in 2020 was scary. But I quickly fell in love with the Georgia Coast.

I hope to continue to grow and serve the Coastal Empire with all things sweet!
